Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will travel to Yerevan next week to attend a two-day joint meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers and Council of Defense Ministers.

Lavrov, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, will discuss the military-political situation in the CSTO collective security regions and the activities of the organization with the ministers.

"The meeting participants will consider a solid package of decisions regarding foreign policy, military and anti-terrorist cooperation within the organization, aimed at strengthening and further developing the CSTO collective security system," the ministry statement reads.
