During a debate today in the Turkish Grand National Assembly focusing on budgetary issues, Turkish Vic President Fuat Oktay said normalization talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan have led to increased stability in the region and that Ankara supports the process.

"We did and are doing everything in the interests of our country and people. We provided the greatest assistance to Azerbaijan. After that, we started supporting the settlement process with Armenia for stability in the region," Oktay said according to the Cumhuriyet news agency.
