Armenian, North Macedonian Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Issues

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his North Macedonian counterpart Bujar Osmani met today on the sidelines of the 29th OSCE Ministerial Forum in Łódź, Poland, and discussed relations between their two countries and regional security matters.

Given that North Macedonia will assume the presidency of the OSCE, the two discussed the organization’s engagement in the South Caucasus and the needs assessment mission dispatched to Armenia.

Mirzoyan, according to his office, emphasized that Azerbaijan’s continued belligerent rhetoric and border provocations threaten regional security.

He also described the humanitarian issues facing Armenia, including the need to have all Armenian POWs held in Azerbaijan released.
