Former Artsakh State Minister to Continue Yerevan Sit-Down Protest

Former Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan today said he will continue his sit-down protest action outside the U.N. Office in Yerevan until the Lachin Corridor linking Artsakh and Armenia is reopened.

Beglaryan, who now serves as an adviser to newly appointed Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, started his protest yesterday.

"The people of Artsakh need all our support,” he said.

Beglaryan was on a business visit to Yerevan and now cannot return to Artsakh.

A group of Azerbaijanis, claiming to be environmental activists have blocked a section of the roadway for three days.

"Artsakh is a unwavering value of all Armenians and this struggle belongs to all of us," Beglaryan said.
