Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today appointed Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan to the post of deputy prime minister.

Khachatryan thus replaces Hambardzum Matevosyan who was relieved as deputy prime minister earlier this month.

Current Deputy Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan has been appointed the country’s finance minister.

The government has not specified the reasons for the recent personnel changes.
