Russia, Azerbaijan Regret Armenia's Postponment of Foreign Ministers' Meeting
The foreign minister of Russia Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during a telephone conversation today with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, called on Baku to adhere to its ceasefire obligations and ensure unhindered access along the now blocked Lachin Corridor.
They, according to TASS, discussed ongoing talks to reopen the roadway and the disagreements preventing it.
The two also expressed their regrets over the Armenian governments decision to postpone a scheduled December 23 meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia.
Earlier today, the Armenian Foreign Ministry announced it has requested a postponement due to the Lachin Corridor closure, arguing solving the problem is its top priority for now.
