
Turkey Lifts Air Cargo Ban to Armenia
The Armenian Foreign Ministry has confirmed Turkish press reports that Ankara has lifted its ban on direct air cargo transportation with Armenia.
TRT Haber today reported the news earlier today citing unnamed diplomatic sources.
Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan said the cargo ban was lifted following normalization negotiations between the special representatives of the two countries.
Hunanyan said Ankara informed Yerevan today that it had lifted the ban.

Turkish special representative Serdar Kılıç and his Armenian counterpart Ruben Rubinyan agreed to start direct air cargo transportation between the two countries at their meeting last July.
