The sole high-voltage power line supplying electricity from Armenia to was damaged today according to the private Artsakh Energo utility company.

The company reports that Azerbaijan isn’t allowing repair teams access to the damaged section.

While electricity will be supplied via local generating stations, the company urges residents to use electricity sparingly.

The company doesn’t specify the nature of the damage.
