Artsakh Internet Service Restored

Full internet service has been restored in Artsakh one day after a cable connecting the region to Armenia was damaged.

The Artsakh government reports that Russian peacekeepers were able to convince Azerbaijani authorities to allow a repair team to the site of the damage.

Artsakh Human Rights Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan yesterday accused Azerbaijan of “deliberately cutting the communication wires from Armenia”.

The damaged cable was close to where so-called Azerbaijani eco-activists have closed the Lachin Corridor for over a month now.
