
Former Tbilisi State University Rector Appointed Georgia's Ambassador to Armenia
Former Tbilisi State University rector Giorgi Sharvashidze has been appointed Georgia’s Ambassador to Armenia.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Sharvashidze and congratulated him on his appointment.
Sharvashidze served as Tbilisi State University rector from2016-2022. Prior to this, he worked in the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
Sharvashidze replaces Giorgi Saganelidze whose mandate expired in 2021.
