The RA government today removed Sergei Bagratyan (photo, left) from the post of Vayots Dzor Regional Administrator and Nver Poghosyan as Gegharkuniq Regional Administrator.

The two officials had tendered their resignations beforehand, stating that as members of the BHK (Prosperous Armenia Party) they could not, in good faith, continue at their posts.

The BHK recently declared that it would not be entering into a governing coalition with the ruling HHK (Republican Party).
