Armenia today prepared to dispatch a team of disaster relief workers to Syria and Turkey to assist local search and rescue operations following yesterday’s devastating earthquake.

Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Vahan Hunanyan didn’t say how many Armenian emergency workers would be sent.
