The Armenian government will allocate 48.3 million AMD (US$122,000) to send the country’s State Symphony Orchestra on a tour of Great Britain and Northern Irelanmd as part of the 120th anniversary celebrations of composer and conductor Aram Khachaturian’s birth.

The orchestra plans to perform in ten cities - Manchester, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Burningham, Sheffield, Cheltenham, Croydon, Perth, Guildford, London.

The entire tour will cost an estimated 98 million AMD.
