Armenia has sent 157.8 million AMD (US$403,000) worth of food and bedding to Turkey and Syria following last week’s earthquake that devasted parts of southern Turkey and northwestern Syria.

The aid was sent to Syria by plane and overland to Turkey.

Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan, at a government cabinet session today, said Turkey and Armenia will rebuild a bridge, spanning the Arax River, that connects the two countries.
