Armenia’s Arsen Harutyunyan was declared champion in the freestyle 61 kg weight category at the European Wrestling Championship in Zagreb, defeating Albania’s Zelimkhan Abakarov in the final.

Harutyunyan won gold medals at the European championships in 2019 and 2022.
