Top Arsakh government officials today, in Stepanakert, met with met with Colonel-General Alexander Lentsov, the newly appointed commander of the Russian peacekeeping troops stationed in Karabakh and urged him to take steps to end Baku’s blockade of the Lachin Corridor.

Lentsov, according to a Facebook post by Artsakh State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan, said he’s scheduled to meet with Azerbaijani officials this week on the matter.

Nersisyan again appealed to the international community to pressure Baku to open the roadway.
