No Territorial Claims of Azerbaijan, Says Armenian Parliament Deputy Speaker
Armenian National Assembly Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan, during a briefing with reporters today, said the rights and security of Artsakh Armenians should be included in a peace treaty that Armenia signs with Azerbaijan.
Arshakyan didn’t specify what those rights are.
He said that an international mechanism needs to be created to ensure the implementation of these rights.
He reiterated the Pashinyan administration’s position that Armenia has no territorial claims of Azerbaijan.
"Armenia takes the position that we do not have any territorial claims from any neighbor, including Azerbaijan. In fact, it means that we need to adjust the state borders and the territories that belong to our states," he said.
