Armen Tovmasyan runs a small shoe repair shop in Yerevan.

He used to work at the Masis shoe factory in the late 1980s before the plant closed after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Tovmasyan opened his shoe repair booth on Zakyan Street in 1995.

The cobbler tells Hetq that he writes poetry during work breaks.
