Armenia’s Defense Ministry reports that Azerbaijani troops fired on Armenian military positions today near the communities of Sotk (Gegharkunik Province) and Yeraskh (Ararat Province).

The ministry reports Azerbaijani troops again targeted a metallurgical plant under construction in Yeraskh, near the border with Nakhijevan.

Two Indian national working on the plant were injured last week when Azerbaijani troops opened fire.

Baku claims Armenian troops were the first to fire today.
