Pashinyan Says Armenia Couldn't Use Certain Weapons During 2020 Artsakh War
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today appeared before a parliamentary fact-finding committee investigating the 2020 Artsakh war and said Armenia couldn’t use certain weapons during the conflict because it didn’t fully have the right to do so.
Pashinyan said as much when MP Hayk Sargsyan asked if Armenia was restricted to use certain weapons, specifically missile systems.
Sargsyan asked Pashinyan if he was referring to the Russian-manufactured Iskander mobile short-range ballistic missile system.
Pashinyan said he’d give further details when the committee meets at a closed-door session.
Armenia’s opposition parliamentary factions have boycotted the work of the fact-finding commission whose mandate is soon to expire.
