Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, in Lisbon on July 14, met with Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Board of Trustees President António Feijó and Razmik Panossian, who heads the foundation’s Armenian Communities Department.

Mirzoyan, according to his office, emphasized the importance of the foundation’s work to advance Armenian studies, preserve Armenian identity in the diaspora, and to serve as a bridge between the governments of Armenia and Portugal.

The parties discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation between Armenian structures and institutions in the fields of science, education, culture and information technologies.

Mirzoyan also toured the foundation’s museum that houses one of the most important private collections of international art.
