Pashinyan Flies to Kapan; Tours Renovated Airport
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today boarded a NovAir prop plane and flew to the Syunik provincial center of Kapan to inaugurate the planned launch of regular Yerevan-Kapan flights later this month.
Pashinyan toured the renovated Syunik Airport after years of delays, cost overruns and safety concerns. NovAir flights linking Yerevan and Syunik were scheduled to begin in January 2022, but the carrier later withdrew its flight permit request.
