Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and visiting U.S. Senator Gary Peters met today in Yerevan and discussed the humanitarian situation in Karabakh and the security of Karabakh Armenians.

Pashinyan, according to his office, thanked Peters for visiting Armenia at this difficult time and stressed the importance of his administration’s cooperation with the U.S. to strengthen democracy in Armenia.

Peters, and members of a U.S. congressional delegation he leads, recently travelled to Armenia’s border with Azerbaijan to see the situation following Azerbaijan’s military offensive against Artsakh.
