Aliyev to Blinken: "No More Military Action in Karabakh"
U.S. State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller, during a September 26 press briefing, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has promised to cease further military action in Karabakh.
Miller said Aliyev said as much to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a recent telephone conversation.
Miller reiterated that the U.S. continues to discuss, with its allies and partners, the possibility of sending international monitors to Karabakh.
