Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov talked by telephone yesterday and discussed “recent developments in Karabakh”, this according to Lavrov’s office.

The two also discussed providing humanitarian assistance and ensuring the rights and security of the local Armenian population.

The prospects of an Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty and the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border were also on the agenda.
