Azerbaijan Arrests Former Artsakh Defense Army Official
Azerbaijani security forces arrested former Artsakh Defense Army Deputy Commander Davit Manukyan on September 27 and charged him with “terrorism” and “illegally crossing Azerbaijan’s state border”.
While Azerbaijan’s State Security Service (SSS) doesn’t specify where Manukyan was detained, it’s assumed that it was when he attempted to reach Armenia from Karabakh along the Lachin Corridor.
The Azerbaijani SSS released a photo of Manukyan being transported to Baku for indictment.
