The Azerbaijani press reports that the second and third presidents of the Artsakh Republic, Arkady Ghukasyan (1997-2007) and Bako Sahakyan (2007-2020) have been arrested and transferred to Baku.

Also arrested was Davit Ishkhanyan, the last speaker of the Artsakh parliament.

The Azerbaijani government has yet to announce the arrests.
