The Azerbaijani press reports that  Arayik Harutyunyan, the fourth president of the Artsakh Republic (2020-2023), has been arrested and transferred to Baku.

There is no information on the fate of Samvel Shahramanyan, the fifth and last Artsakh president.

Earlier, the Azerbaijan press reported the arrests of Arkady Ghukasyan and Bako Sahakyan, the second and third presidents of Artsakh.

Artur Mkrtchyan, first Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic was fatally shot under unclear circumstances in April 1992. Robert Kocharyan served as Artsakh president from 1994-1997.
