Armenia Wine Company Imparts Unique Aroma to Yerevan International Theater Festival

As one of the largest producing companies in Armenia, "Armenia Wine" had the mission to stand next to culture, promoting its development and publicizing national values from the very first days of its activity.

Within the framework of the first Yerevan International Theater Festival, the company's cooperation with G. Sundukyan National Academic Theater is an important manifestation of this mission, which was confirmed by the creation of a new authors wine from the company, named after the festival and in honor of the festival.

"Winemaking has never been just a production for is. Wine itself is a culture, so our activity is constantly interconnected with different spheres of culture. We believe that Armenian wine gives notes of Armenia to every initiative, for this very reason it was important for us to create a special aroma for the Yerevan International Theater Armenian nuances,"- the representatives of the company say.

The wine bearing the name of the festival is a unique gift of the "Armenia Wine" company to the Yerevan International Theater Festival, as a sign of the fusion of winemaking and theater cultures.

"What “Armenia Wine” did within the framework of this festival was truly unprecedented. My foreign colleagues are amazed and surprised to hear that the largest wine producer in Armenia has created a wine named after the festival," - says the founder of the festival,  of the festival, the  director of the National Academic Theater named after G. Sundukyan, Vardan Mkrtchyan, adding,-"These are the steps that prove that wine is an art, and Armenia Wine is a follower of greater values than just production."

During the opening of the festival Vardan Mkrtchyan gifted Armenian wine to the guests from France, declaring, "Although France is unbeatable in terms of wine, today you have the opportunity to compete with Armenian wine."

The start of the festival was particularly symbolic: instead of a grand opening ceremony, the organizers decided to dedicate the first performance to children from Artsakh and play for them.
