Iranian Foreign Minister in Ankara for Gaza Talks

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Ankara today for talks with senior Turkish officials on the Palestine issue.

The Iranian MEHR news agency reports that Hossein Amir-Abdollahian is scheduled to meet with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the daylong trip.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian traveled to Turkey after a trip to Doha where he and top Qatari officials, including the Arab country’s Emir, exchanged views on efforts needed for an immediate stop to the Gaza war.

The leaders of Iran and Turkey have accused Israel of committing war crimes in Gaza.
