Russia Approves Opening Consulate General in Kapan

The Russian government has approved an agreement to open a consulate general in the Armenian city of Kapan, this according to TASS.

Russia currently operates a consulate general in Gyumri.

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, last month, announced that Moscow "expressed a desire to open a consulate in Kapan", to which Yerevan agreed.
