
EU Reviewing Possible Military Aid to Armenia
European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, at the meeting of the EU Council's foreign ministers in Brussels yesterday, said the EU is studying the possibility of providing military aid to Armenia, as well as the issue of visa liberalization for Armenian citizens.
Today, EU foreign ministers discussed the situation in Israel and the region, Russian aggression against Ukraine, COP28 and recent developments concerning Armenia-Azerbaijan.

We are studying the option of providing aid to Armenia from the European Peace Fund and liberalizing visas for Armenia," Borrell said. Borrell said the EU has clearly warned Azerbaijan that any violation of Armenia's territorial integrity and sovereignty is unacceptable and will lead to "severe consequences".
