Lavrov, Bayramov Meet in Moscow at Caspian Sea Conclave

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov met in Moscow today on the sidelines of a meeting of foreign ministers of the five nations bordering the Caspian Sea.

The two, according to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, will discuss relations between the two countries, the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, and issues of mutual interest on the regional and international agenda.

The foreign ministers of Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan have gathered in Moscow to discuss regional security, economic collaboration, and environmental concerns pertinent to the Caspian region.
