On December 11-12, France's National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO) of France hosted a two-day conference entitled "Shushi, the Pearl of the Caucasus" in Paris.

During the conference, reports were presented dedicated to the preservation of the spiritual and cultural heritage of Shushi and Artsakh in general.

French Senate VP Pierre Ouzoulias welcomed those attending the conference.

Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Church of France Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Grigor Khachatryan, Armenian Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajyan, Director of the French National Heritage Institute Charles Personnaz were among the attendees.
