Moscow Ready to Mediate Unblocking of South Caucasus Transport Routes

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk told reporters in Yerevan yesterday that Moscow is ready, as a mediator, to continue negotiations with Armenia and Azerbaijan on the unblocking of regional transport routes.

Overchuk noted that the issue was one pf the points of the Moscow-brokered ceasefire deal that ended the 2020 Karabakh war.

 Overchuk is leading a Russian delegation at the 22nd meeting of the Russian-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation underway in Yerevan.
