Armenia Replaces High-Tech Industry Minister

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today dismissed Robert Khachatryan as the country’s high-tech industry minister, replacing him with Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.

Hayrapetyan, a founding member of the ruling Civil Contract Party, served as Armenia’s Minister of the Diaspora from May 2018 to January 2019.

A government statement doesn’t specify why Khachatryan was dismissed.
