
Munich: Pashinyan, Aliyev Discuss 'Normalizing Relations'
The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan met today on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) in Germany.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who organized the meeting, sat down with Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev after talking with them separately.
The MSC bills itself as “the world's leading forum for debating international security policy.”

Pashinyan’s office says the Armenian prime minister and Scholz discussed issues related to the Armenia-Germany bilateral agenda and efforts to normalize Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
As for the tripartite meeting, Pashinyan’s office says the process to normalize Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and steps aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region were discussed.
Aliyev’s office also reports that the same issues were discussed.
