Pashinyan, French PM Discuss Expanding Cooperation

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal met in Paris today and discussed prospects for greater cooperation between the two countries.

Pashinyan congratulated Attal on his recent appointment as France's prime minister and wished him success.

Pashinyan, according to his office, highlighted the deepening of cooperation with the French government in various fields. The two sides discussed  issues related to trade and economic relations, cooperation and implementation of joint projects in the fields construction, infrastructure development, energy, water sector management and tourism.

 Pashinyan emphasized the support of the French government to Armenia in the direction of diversification of markets, as well as introduction of global standards.

Attal accepted Pashinyan's invitation to Armenia on an official visit.
