3,500 AMD to Visit Khosrov Cultural Sites
A civic group called "Know Your Country" reports that people wanting to visit cultural monuments in the Khosrov Forest Reservation will now have to pay 3,500 AMD each.
The sites in question are – Havouts Tar Monastery (10th century), Aghtchots Monastery (13th c.) and Kaqavaberd (9th c.).
The group argues that such a hefty sum will prevent many Armenians, especially the youth, from visiting such cultural sites and calls on the Mother See at Etchmiadzin and the Ministries of Environment and Culture to take steps towards the elimination of such fees.
