Twenty-three movies will be shown at the European Film Festival that starts today throughout Armenia.

The festival is part of events marking "Europe Day 2024" in the country.

Movie screenings, to take place in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor and Kajaran, are free to the public.

The festival ends on June 7, 2024 with the film “Aurora’s Sunrise”, an animated documentary film directed by Inna Sahakyan based on the life of Aurora Mardiganian, an Armenian Genocide survivor who after escaping the Ottoman Empire became an actress in the United States.
