
Pashinyan, Uruguyan Legislators Meet in Yerevan
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today, during a meeting with President of the Chamber of Representatives of Uruguay Ana Olivera and Chamber Vice-President Pedro Jisdonian in Yerevan, noted that Uruguay has always stood by Armenia and the Armenian people in difficult times.
Pashinyan, according to his office, emphasized the need to develop inter-parliamentary cooperation on international platforms between the two countries, as well as the deepening of ties in the fields of economy, tourism, culture and sports.
The parties discussed aspects of a possible Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty, the Armenian government’s program for providing housing for forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno Karabakh, and other issues of mutual interest.
The two Uruguyan legislators are on an official visit to Armenia.
