Kazakhstan Ready to Provide Platform for Yerevan-Baku Talks
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during a telephone conversation today with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, said his country is ready to serve as a platform for Yerevan-Baku negotiations.
Aliyev, according to Tokayev’s office, said the proposal was acceptable to Baku.
In May, when the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia met in the Kazakh capital Astana, the Central Asian country said it wasn’t mediating such talks.
