Washington Doubles USAID Funding Ceiling to Armenia
The United States is doubling the amount of funding provided to Armenia to promote democracy and economic development in the country.
The USAID Armenia Mission writes that an amendment to the Development Grant Agreement will more than double the amount available under USAID's agreement, from $120 million to $250 million, and expands areas of collaboration.
The expanded agreement will cover key areas such as disaster preparedness, cyber security, food and energy security, regional cooperation and trade, democratic processes and inclusive economic development.
