The Arin dance ensemble from Lebanon will be taking center stage at the Hagop Baronian Musical Comedy Theater in Yerevan on Friday, July 27.

The event is being organized as part of the My Armenia pan-national festival

The ensemble, founded by the Armenian General Benevolent Union in the 1960s, performed periodically over the years due to the civil wars and strife that hit Lebanon.

In 2011, the ensemble was renamed Arin, in memory of one of its members, Arin Cherchian. It presently has 110 members in seven different groups.
