
Armenia Approves Economic Cooperation Deal with Hungary
The Armenian government today approved the signing of an economic cooperation agreement between Armenia and Hungary.
The agreement will regulate economic relations in trade, the pharmaceutical industry, tourism, energy, transport and logistics, agriculture and forestry, research and innovation, environmental protection and water resources management, among other sectors.
It is also planned to establish a joint economic intergovernmental commission between Armenia and Hungary to coordinate and promote bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
In 2022, Armenia imported goods worth $22.2 million from Hungary, and $23.7 million in 2023.
In 2022, Armenia exported goods worth $441,000 to Hungary, and $1.2 million in 2023.
