Armenia - U.S. Discuss Direct Flights
U․S․ Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien and Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan met today in Yerevan and discussed the possibility of launching direct flights between the two countries.
Direct flights between the U.S. and Armenia have never existed despite attempts over the years to jump start such flights, especially between Los Angeles, where thousands of Armenians reside, and Yerevan.
Khudatyan’s office doesn’t provide specifics on what was discussed and the outcome of today’s talk.
Khudatyan was appointed minister in November 2024, replacing Gnel Sanosyan who, among other government officials, was instructed to resign by Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan.
