
Pashinyan, EU Special Representative Magdalena Grono Meet in Yerevan
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today received EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Magdalena Grono.
Pashinyan, according to his office, congratulated Ms. Grono on assuming the position and expressed hope that her activities will contribute to the further development and strengthening of Armenia-EU cooperation.
Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government today approved a bill to the launch of the process of Armenia’s accession to the European Union.
Grono thanked Pashinyan for the reception and emphasized the importance of the consistent expansion of Armenia-EU cooperation, including the development of democratic institutions and reforms in our country.
During the meeting, the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the active steps of the Armenian government aimed at security and stability in the South Caucasus, as well as the Crossroads of Peace project were discussed.
