Armenia today shipped humanitarian aid, including food and medical supplies, to Syria via the Magara checkpoint connecting Armenia and Turkey.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry reports that the border crossing, which Turkey closed during the first Artsakh war, was opened after an agreement was reached with Ankara.
