Swedish journalist Rasmus Canbäck studies the situation in the South Caucasus. Since the 2020 Artsakh war, he has been writing about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and has investigated Azerbaijan’s “Caviar diplomacy” in Sweden. In 2023, Rasmus published a book titled “I Die Slowly Every Day.” It is about post-war Artsakh and was written following his 2021 journey there. The first edition was in Swedish. A second edition was published in English in 2024, with additional chapters covering Azerbaijan’s 2023 offensive and the forced displacement of Artsakh Armenians.
