
Armenian, Georgian Presidents Discuss Ways to Expand Cooperation
Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan today met with Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili who arrived in Armenia on an official visit.
The two presidents first had a private conversation, followed by a meeting of the delegations of the two countries in an expanded format.
During the meeting the parties discussed ways to deepen the multilayered relations established between the two countries and expand cooperation in various fields.
The leaders of the two countries emphasized the role of political dialogue and the importance of strengthening mutual trust for the benefit of the stability and well-being of neighboring peoples.
The presidents stressed the imperative of establishing stable and lasting peace in the region, highlighting the need to promote the peace agenda as a key prerequisite for the development of the entire South Caucasus.
